"Doctors can cut but only God can heal"

Over the years thousands of miracles have taken place under the ministry of Pastor Profeta. As you walk in the Full Gospel Tabernacle one of the first things that you see is the walls are covered in wheel chairs, walkers, canes and thousands of other items of the walls of the church as a testimony of the miracle working power of God. "It has got to the point where we can not fit everything we have on the walls, we have a room full of the evidence of Gods healing power" states Kent Profeta, the Pastors son. For years the sick and terminally ill have come to the church and crusades to receive a touch from God.

"Doctors can cut but only God can heal" is a phrase you will hear often from Pastor Profeta. Since his crusades at Madison Square Gardens and Nassau Coliseum thousands have come with a need in there body hearing of the miracles that take place under this powerful ministry. 

One of the many documented miracles comes from Angela Rodriguez and her miracle child.

"In November of 1990 I discovered a growth in my nostrils. I went to the doctor but the medication he prescribed was unsuccessful. Complicating my situation, I was two months pregnant. The tumor grew and in February 1991 I had a biopsy done, the tumor was diagnosed as cancer. By then the cancer had spread into my sinus area, and beneath my eye. I proceeded to have three other biopsies performed at three different hospitals but the outcome was the same- I had cancer. I was scheduled to undergo major surgery and the doctors made it clear that they would probably have to take the baby. Devastated and disappointed I phoned my friend Karen Bryant who attends the Massapequa Tabernacle. Karen assured me that she would pray and would also put my name on the prayer list to be prayed over during on of the Mountain Moving Services held every Tuesday. Rather than wait until Tuesday, my husband and I decided to travel from our home near Boston and attend Sunday service at Massapequa Tabernacle. During service Pastor Profeta prayed for me and assured me that "doctors can cut, but only god can heal". He told me that the cancer was healed, I would not need surgery and that they would not need surgery and that they would not have to take my baby. He also informed me that I would be back to the church with a testimony of a complete healing. I returned to the doctor and minor surgery was performed to test the growth once more. By now, the growth had substantially reduced in size and when it was tested this time, the report came back negative. The doctors apologetically told me they had no explanation as to why the cancer suddenly disappeared. But I know that it was God who took this cancer and allowed me to keep my baby!! Just recently I returned to Massapequa Tabernacle to have my miracle baby dedicated.  PRAISE THE LORD
